  • ½ kilo beef top sirloin steak (2cm thick), cut into strips
  • 2 tablespoons fajita seasoning mix
  • 1 large onion, cut crosswise into 1 ¼ cm slices
  • 1 medium sweet red pepper and green pepper, cut into 1 ¼ cm strips
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 tortillas (corn, flour, or wheat)
  • Avocado, minced fresh coriander, and lime wedges


  1. Rub steak with seasoning mix.
  2. Grill or pan-fry steak and vegetables over medium heat for 4-6 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness and vegetables are tender.  Remove from heat and rest (covered) for 5 minutes before slicing.
  3. Serve in warm tortillas and top with avocado.
