Tariq Halal Meat appoints Halal Assurance & Development Director

Tariq Halal Meat is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Mansur Ahmed as their Halal Assurance & Development Director. Mr Ahmed’s role will involve verifying the authenticity of halal certificates from suppliers to ensure all products are certified by recognised Halal Certification Bodies (HCBs) as well as handle all halal related enquiries.

 
Mr Ahmed comes to Tariq Halal with 14 years of experience in halal certification. Prior to joing Tariq Halal Meat, Mr Ahmed was a Senior Auditor & Inspector for Halal Food Authority (HFA). “I intend to apply my experience and communication skills to increase customer confidence as well as coordinating with Halal Certification Bodies around the world,” Mr Ahmed said.
 

Tariq Halal Meat’s Owner Mr Tariq Sheikh, hailed Mansur’s “great wealth of experience” and added: “Not only will Mansur bring a tighter focus on customer relationship to our sales team, but also be a great role model for our employees and vendors who come into contact with him.
